On-site visit

This time the survey team visited the cryptocurrency dealer BITOCEAN in Japan, with specific address at 8/F, Inamura Bldg., Nihonbashi Kayabacho, Chuo-ku, Tokyo. 

According to the above address, the survey team came to the building at Nihonbashi Kayabacho, Chuo-ku, Tokyo. The building was next to the subway station [Kayabacho Station] with convenient transportation.

Entering the building, the team clearly saw the name of BITOCEAN on the directory of lobby. It was indicated that the dealer’s office was on the 8th floor

Subsequently, they came to the 8th floor and found an office with the nameplate of BITOCEAN. However, due to the remote working, the door was locked and no internal visits could be made. 

Conclusion

The survey team went to Tokyo, Japan to visit the cryptocurrency dealer BITOCEAN, and found that the exchange truly has a business premise at the official business address shown. However, due to the remote working, the office was found closed so that the team could not enter the office. Please be prudent when trading with this dealer.
