Crypto Wallet

The Propy Wallet is essentially a state-of-the-art platform where individuals can securely store and effectively manage their Propy digital currency. It is incorporated within the multi-asset Freewallet offering, a critically acclaimed and widely-used cryptocurrency management tool, lauded for its security, accessibility, and user-friendly interface. Graciously available on a plethora of platforms, namely iOS, Android, and the web, users can seamlessly manage their Propy irrespective of the device they use, thus ensuring flexibility and convenience. This feature alone widens its reach to accommodate an expansive user base across different devices without compromising functionality.

What Makes PRO Unique?

Propy Token (PRO) includes a few innovations that differentiate it from many other cryptocurrencies. Developed by Natalia Karayaneva, PRO was designed with a specific focus on the real estate sector, aiming to address the classic inefficiencies in this industry, like the speed and security of transactions, and the difficulty of cross-border payments. It accomplishes this by leveraging the power of blockchain technology to ensure transparency, speed, and security of transactions.

Propy Token is said the first blockchain-powered title and escrow company. Their mission is to streamline the closing process and fight wire and title fraud by providing buyers with a more secure experience.

What Makes PRO Unique?

Unlike many cryptocurrencies, which aim for a wide variety of applications, PRO has a targeted use case, which makes it unique among many cryptocurrencies. It also distinguishes itself by working closely with government offices worldwide to enable the title registry on blockchain. It is worth noting, however, that the market scenario and regulatory environment can significantly affect the success and acceptance of such a specialized token.

In terms of technical aspect, PRO is identical to many other tokens because it is based on the Ethereum blockchain, making it an ERC20 token. This means that it integrates smoothly into most existing Ethereum infrastructure and can be stored in any wallet that supports the widely-used ERC20 standard.

How Does PRO Work?

Propy Token (PRO) operates based on the Ethereum blockchain, as an ERC20 token, which results in some differences from cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin in terms of its working mode and operation principles.

PRO doesn't involve traditional mining like Bitcoin. Instead, it follows a process called “minting.” This process takes place on the Ethereum network, and the number of PRO tokens could be pre-set when it was initially launched.

In terms of the mining software, since PRO tokens are minted, rather than mined, they don't require standalone mining software. The creation and distribution of PRO tokens occur as per the predefined rules in the Ethereum-based smart contract that governs the token.

The speed of 'minting', or generating new PRO tokens, is dependent on the rules set in its smart contract and Ethereum network's block time, which is faster compared to Bitcoin's block time.

As for mining equipment, traditionally resource-intensive hardware, such as ASIC miners used for Bitcoin, is not necessary for transacting or participating in the Ethereum ecosystem, since Ethereum tokens are not mined but minted within the Ethereum network.

Processing time for transactions in the PRO network is relatively quicker when compared to Bitcoin, considering Ethereum's faster block confirmation time. However, transaction speed can still be affected by the overall network congestion and the gas price set for the transaction.

Therefore, compared to cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, which operate based on Proof-of-Work and require considerable computational resources for mining, the operation of PRO is more energy-efficient and accessible. However, this also means its security and decentralization level is tied to that of the Ethereum network.

    Exchanges to Buy PRO

Propy Token (PRO) is supported by several cryptocurrency exchanges. Some of the prominent ones are:

    CoinCarp:

    • Step 1: Sign up for an account on the official website or app of a centralized exchange (CEX). If CEX supports (such as Binance) one-click registration and login of social accounts, you can directly use social accounts to register and log in.
    • Step 2: Verify your identity and set up your Centralized Exchange (CEX) account security. You'll usually need to have a government-issued ID. For the security of your assets, you'd better enable two-step verification.
    • Step 3: Buy USDT, ETH, or BNB with fiat currency. You can use the services offered by CEX that support OTC transactions, or you can use a financial services platform (PayPal or Robinhood, for US residents) that supports the purchase of digital currencies through your bank account or credit card.
    • Step 4: Transfer USDT, ETH, or BNB purchased with fiat currency to CEX that supports Proxy (PRO) trading in the spot market. If you use a centralized exchange (CEX) that supports the purchase of USDT, ETH, or BNB via fiat currency, as well as trading pairs such as Propy(PRO)-USDT, Propy(PRO)-ETH, or Propy(PRO)-BNB, you can trade on the same platform without having to switch to another platform that supports Propy(PRO).
    • Step 5: Buy Propy (PRO) with USDT, ETH, or BNB in the spot market.

Note: Some centralized exchanges (CEXs) may not be available in your country or region, so it's best to check with the exchange's customer service or check the exchange's announcements. As for tax issues, you can check with your local department for more information.

The registration and verification process is unexpectedly complicated, and PRO's interface is neither reasonable nor easy to use. Also, customer support is slow to respond and inefficient, which is really disappointing.
