KuCoin’s Older 25-Token Delisting: Withdrawal Window Has Closed—Do Not Confuse It With the October 30-Token Batch

Abstract:KuCoin’s September delisting batch of 25 assets including ACX, AUDIO, MTRG, WAXP, REEF and HYDRA reached its October 7, 08:00 UTC withdrawal cutoff. This is distinct from the newer 30-token batch, whose withdrawals are due November 9.

KuCoin users face two different delisting batches whose withdrawal dates must not be confused. The older batch covered 25 tokens, with trading already removed on September 7, 2026. KuCoins original September 3 announcement set the final normal withdrawal cutoff at October 7 at 08:00 UTC. That deadline has passed at the October 9 reporting cutoff.

This is a distinct event from KuCoins newer 30-token batch, which left spot markets on October 8 and has a November 9 scheduled withdrawal deadline. A user holding AUDIO, ACX, WAXP or REEF should not assume the newer November window applies.

The 25 affected tokens

The official older batch includes ACX (Across), HYDRA, KARRAT, PORTALS, GAFI, SCOR, AUDIO (Audius), BLUM, HONEY, SN3, NOBODY, TSTBSC, HPOS10I, LVVA, MTRG (Meter Governance), EMYC, DUCK, J (Jambo), MOVA, BFC, WEN, FWOG, GAIN, WAXP and REEF.

A substantial part of this list consists of thin-liquidity tokens, but recognizable projects such as Across, Audius, WAX and Reef are also present. Being delisted from KuCoin is not proof that each underlying network or protocol has stopped operating.

The three official dates

September 4 at 08:00 UTC: deposits were disabled. September 7 at 08:00 UTC: spot trading ceased and related orders were cancelled. October 7 at 08:00 UTC: the exchanges published withdrawal-service window ended. As of this report these are historical scheduled cutoffs, not future reminders. WikiBit does not claim that every asset is irrecoverable, only that the standard promised exit window has elapsed.

Why the withdrawal cutoff is different from delisting

A trading delisting removes an order book. During a later withdrawal-only phase, customers can still move tokens to an external supported wallet. Once that phase ends, the platform may no longer process normal token withdrawals. Historical blockchain balances, an old deposit address or an account line item are not proof that service remains operational.

KuCoin‘s project-side risk exception

The original announcement warned that if a project ceased block production, transfers or other on-chain operations, KuCoin could close withdrawals accordingly and would not cover users’ losses caused by that external failure. Thus even the October 7 nominal deadline was not an unconditional technical guarantee for each chain. Where assets remain stranded, users need actual asset/network-specific platform instructions.

What a holder should check now

Confirm the asset ticker, chain and KuCoin product; inspect whether withdrawal is still available in the live interface; preserve the account balance and withdrawal history; and use authenticated KuCoin support for any residual claim. Do not send additional tokens to historical deposit addresses or sign third-party 'KuCoin exit claims.' A support ticket is not a guarantee of recovery and no universal compensation has been announced in the original notice.

Why this was not in the October 7 WikiBit package

This is a late-identified completion milestone from a September announcement, not a newly announced October 8 delisting. It merits separate treatment because the older and newer KuCoin batches are easy to conflate and have different economic consequences. WikiBit maintains a separate stable URL for the 25-token event.

Project boundaries

ACX: the Across protocol does not automatically cease when KuCoin support ends. AUDIO: the Audius network is separate from KuCoin‘s order book. MTRG: the Meter ecosystem’s own incident and governance-token status should not be inferred from this venue deadline. WAXP, REEF and others: chain/network availability needs independent project verification. None of these distinctions restore a closed KuCoin withdrawal route by themselves.

Evidence Status

Official: KuCoin September 3 notice, complete 25-token set, deposit September 4, spot September 7, withdrawal October 7 08:00 UTC, no-loss-cover warning for project-related stoppages. Developing: actual residual positions and any exceptional recovery on each chain; updated KuCoin account-specific support. Community-Unverified: social posts claiming special universal recovery portals or fixed reimbursement are not official evidence.

Risk Assessment

High original-asset access risk. The normal exit period has expired; potential recovery is a separate venue-and-chain issue rather than a promise of available withdrawals.

What to Watch Next

KuCoin follow-up announcements, asset-specific exceptional withdrawal support, community complaints cross-checked against platform statements and the separate November 9 deadline for the newer 30-token set.

FAQ

How many assets were in the older batch?

25, including ACX, AUDIO, MTRG, WAXP and REEF.

When did normal withdrawals end?

October 7, 2026 at 08:00 UTC under KuCoins announcement.

Is November 9 a new extension for them?

No. November 9 belongs to a separate newer 30-token batch.

Does KuCoin delisting mean Audius or Across shut down?

No. Venue support and protocol operation are distinct.

Can holders still recover a residual balance?

It depends on the live platform/chain situation; the original notice gives no general guarantee after cutoff.
