Bitcoin (BTC) dropped below $84,000 on Monday as Strategy (MSTR) announced a fresh treasury purchase of $143 million last week, boosting its holdings to 847,666 BTC. The latest purchase brings its total Bitcoin holdings to 847,666 BTC, acquired at an aggregate purchase price of $63.95 billion. Strategy primarily funded the latest Bitcoin acquisition through proceeds from its at-the-market (ATM) offering program. The company sold 1.4 million shares of its MSTR stock, generating approximately $246.2 million in net proceeds. It allocated $142.7 million to its BTC acquisition and used the remaining $103.5 million to support STRC repurchases.
