$DOGE: Dogecoin-Inspired Restaurant Opens in Dubai, Accepts Crypto Payments for Mouthwatering Burger

A cryptocurrency-based restaurant has opened in Dubai and is accepting payments in every major cryptoasset for food based on the meme-inspired cryptocurrency Dogecoin ($DOGE). The restaurant is a virtual one available through delivery.  According to Timeout Dubai, the virtual restaurant was launched by Rocket Kitchens, a chain of virtual restaurants, and its menu was “carefully curated by top chefs” to serve all-American favorites including signature beef, chicken, and mushroom Swiss burgers, among others.  The virtual restaurant reportedly accepts payments in all major cryptosassets, including $DOGE, $BNB, $CRO, $XRP, $USDT, and even rival meme-inspired cryptocurrency Shiba Inu ($SHIB). The restaurant is reportedly looking help boost crypto adoption in the UAE, with its founders being early DOGE adopters. OpenSea Faces $1M Lawsuit Over Hacked Bored Ape

A now former Bored Ape Yacht Club owner is entering uncharted territory this week and filing a lawsuit against leading NFT marketplace OpenSea. The move comes after the former Bored Ape owner was subject to an exploit on the platform that involved inactive listings, and led to hackers being able to ‘purchase’ the Ape for just 0.01 ETH. A Ballistic Bored Ape  A Texas resident has filed the lawsuit late last week, asking for over $1M worth of damages or the rightful return of his Bored Ape #3475. The man alleges that OpenSea was aware of the bug on the platform that resulted in the 0.01 ETH sale of the Ape, which was apparently not listed for sale by the owner at the time it was exploited.  The hacker was able to receive the Ape for 0.01 ETH, and quickly resold it for 99 ETH, or around $250K at todays going prices. Samsung Launches New Phone, Featuring Crypto Wallet Equipment

Samsung is showcasing its growing interest in the crypto space with the release of its new flagship phone Galaxy S22 Ultra.  The South Korean electronics company announced that the S22 Ultra is equipped with a crypto wallet and users would also be able to store ID documentation and keys in digital format.  The electronics giant said that the new features in S22 Ultra are set to release later in the year first in South Korea before expanding it globally.  Additional features that come with the new digital ID feature include storing documentation such as national IDs, drivers licenses, digital debits and credit cards, and digital keys for houses and cars.  Sources have claimed that other possible features might include storage of boarding passes, coronavirus vaccination cards, and crypto in the digital wallet. OpenSea Confirms Under Phishing Attack, after Urging Users to Migrate NFTs New Addresses

Hours after OpenSea announced an upgrade to delist inactive Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) on its platform. Some users have been targeted explicitly through a phishing attack disguised as a legitimate email concerning the planned upgrade.   Per the original OpenSea update, the platform advised its customers to move their Ethereum-based NFTs to a new smart contract address, a move that will cost no cent per gas fee. Users who do not complete the migration as instructed stand the chance of losing their old and inactive tokens. Drawing on this detail, PeckShield, a blockchain security and data analytics company, said that the platforms “Users authorize the ”migration“ as instructed in the phishing email and the authorization, unfortunately, allows the hacker to steal the valuable NFTs.”  In a Twitter update shared by OpenSea‘s Co-Founder and CEO, Devin Finzer, the attacker’s address has remained inactive for the time being, adding that some of the stolen NFTs have been returned back to their owners.
