Scum of Earth: Charles Hoskinson Slams Wyoming LLC Lawsuit to Obtain Dormant Bitcoin Worth Billions

Following a Wyoming LLCs attempt to assert ownership of approximately 3.8 million dormant Bitcoin through a New York lawsuit, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson responded angrily to one of the most bizarre legal theories the cryptocurrency industry has seen in years. Absurdity of the case Hoskinson provided a direct summary of the case: “If you keep money in your safe for too long, we are coming after it,” and criticized lawyers for even considering such cases. BTC/USDT Chart by TradingView The lawsuit sounds almost unreal. Under the alias Noah Doe, a plaintiff asserts that they have created an algorithm that can recognize Bitcoin wallets that havent been used in at least five or six years. The plaintiff allegedly filed found-property reports with the NYPD after flagging over 42,000 wallets and made an effort to inform wallet owners via press releases, public web postings, and OP_RETURN messages (function used to embed arbitrary data into blockchain transactions) integrated into the Bitcoin blockchain. Ethereum Price Today: Standard Chartered Forecasts ETH to Hit $4,000

for the first time since March 29 as renewed U.S.-Iran hostilities triggered a broad crypto sell-off and pushed traders into defensive positions. ETH traded near $1,980 at press time, down about 4% to 5% over the past 24 hours. The decline came as the wider crypto market lost about $80 billion in value following fresh and Iranian retaliation, ending hopes that a temporary ceasefire would hold. The sell-off also followed continued outflows from U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs and a wave of market liquidations across crypto assets. Bitcoin also dropped to multi-week lows as investors reacted to renewed pressure around the Strait of Hormuz and rising geopolitical risk. ETH Falls Below Key Psychological Level Ethereums move below $2,000 has drawn attention because the level has acted as an important psychological marker for traders. Market data showed retail discussion quickly shifting toward “buy the dip” reactions after the drop. Santiment data suggested that many traders are still treating the decline as a buying opportunity rather than a panic event. Historically, when retail traders remain optimistic during a sharp decline, prices can sometimes face further pressure before stabilizing. Source: The current move follows a rejection from the $2,400 resistance zone. ETH failed to hold the $2,135 to $2,195 range and

Market reaction The Greenback trades with marginal gains amid steady uncertainty in the geopolitical landscape, with the US Dollar Index (DXY) navigating the 99.20 area in a context of widespread lack of direction in the risk complex. Employment FAQs Labor market conditions are a key element to assess the health of an economy and thus a key driver for currency valuation. High employment, or low unemployment, has positive implications for consumer spending and thus economic growth, boosting the value of the local currency. Moreover, a very tight labor market – a situation in which there is a shortage of workers to fill open positions – can also have implications on inflation levels

Will Solana price lose $80 support as bearish double top threatens breakdown?

Open interest across Solana perpetual futures has also declined during the latest correction, suggesting traders are closing leveraged long exposure rather than adding fresh bullish positions. Funding rates across major exchanges have turned increasingly negative, a sign that short sellers continue paying premiums to maintain bearish bets. Crypto trading group AltCryptoGems warned that Solanas structure has deteriorated significantly after repeated rejections near the $98 level. “SOL looks very weak. After the rejection at $98, price has started to downtrend lower and lower. Key levels have flipped into resistance, especially $88,” the analysts noted on X. The trader added that a move toward the $76 support region could follow if sellers maintain control of the current consolidation range. Solana charts show bearish double top and key support breakdown The daily chart shows Solana forming a bearish double top pattern after failing twice near the $98 resistance area in March and May. The structure developed just below the 0.786 Fibonacci retracement level at $93.7, while repeated rejections from that zone weakened bullish momentum across the broader recovery trend. Czech Koruna: Narrowing rate gap weighs on koruna versus Euro – ING

INGs Frantisek Taborsky highlights that a less hawkish Central and Eastern European rates outlook is undermining Koruna strength. Markets have scaled back expected hikes in Poland and the Czech Republic, while Hungary is priced for sizeable cuts. He expects inflation divergence and a tighter rate differential versus the Euro and Zloty, leaving EUR/CZK biased higher after touching 24.25. CEE repricing pressures koruna “Markets in the CEE region have seen some relief in the last two days, along with global markets, with investors backing off from pricing roughly four hikes in Poland and the Czech Republic to roughly two to three hikes over a one-year horizon now.” “At the same time, Hungary has deepened its pricing of rate cuts after Tuesdays dovish National Bank of Hungary meeting, and at this point, nearly 115bp of rate cuts are expected over the same horizon.” “From this perspective, Friday‘s inflation in Poland will be interesting, where we have seen the biggest jump in CEE so far. May’s numbers should move us to 3.7% year-on-year, the highest since June last year and above the National Bank of Polands tolerance band.” “For now, our economists do not expect a rate hike this year, but from a CEE perspective, the NBP seems

Fidelity Q1 2026 report: Balances drop 4% as rates near record

Amid early-2026 market turmoil, the Fidelity q1 2026 report reveals falling retirement balances but also surprisingly resilient saving behavior. Fidelity Q1 2026 report: balances drop as markets whipsaw The Fidelity Q1 2026 retirement report shows that average account balances fell notably in the first quarter. According to the data, the average 401(k) balance declined 4% to $141,000, while the average IRA balance also slipped 4% to $131,380. These declines came as markets faced sharp volatility and a brief but intense risk-off period. Fidelity directly links this pullback to geopolitical shocks. On February 28, U.S. and Israeli forces attacked Iran, an escalation that triggered a pronounced equity selloff. Consequently, major U.S. indices posted meaningful losses in March, before later rebounding. In particular, Fidelity notes that the S&P 500 fell 5.1% in March, the Dow dropped 5.4%, and the Nasdaq lost 4.8%. Because retirement accounts are heavily invested in equities, these moves translated quickly into lower quarter-end balances for millions of savers. Market stress and the rising use of 401(k) loans Beyond portfolio values, the Fidelity q1 2026 report points to growing evidence that some households are turning to retirement accounts for liquidity. The share of workers with an outstanding 401(k) loan rose to 19.2% by the end of Q1

Under $0.0025 Today, This Token Could Explode 5,000% Before Solana (SOL) Touches $200 Again

Momentum Builds as the Presale Ceiling Approaches With the presale now approaching its $28.77 million target, the final stretch is beginning to create additional pressure around current pricing levels. The remaining allocation continues shrinking rapidly, and Stage 13 is already nearing completion. As a result, many buyers are entering before the next stage of increased activity. The roadmap also continues adding fuel to the broader narrative. Planned listings on leading centralized exchanges alongside Uniswap are expected after the presale completes, while discussions about future collaborations continue circulating throughout the community. Social engagement has mirrored that momentum. Community discussions increasingly reference long-term ambitions such as a potential $1 billion market capitalization and eventual placement inside CoinMarketCaps top 100 rankings. The Ecosystem Extends Beyond Typical Meme Coin Structure At first glance, Little Pepe appears to be a meme coin. Underneath that branding, however, the project is structured more like a blockchain ecosystem attempting to solve practical trading limitations. The network focuses on faster transactions, lower costs, zero-tax trading, staking systems, NFT integration, and anti-bot launch protections. Those mechanics are becoming increasingly relevant as traders begin searching for meme ecosystems capable of holding user attention beyond the initial hype cycle. The timing may also be helping. Beyond pricing structure and infrastructure,

Crypto Giants Hit Pause: Grayscale Joins IPO Delay Wave

Grayscale Investments, the worlds largest crypto asset manager, has delayed its long-awaited IPO amid cooling market enthusiasm, following peers like Kraken and Consensys. This shift highlights tightening conditions for crypto listings in 2026 despite earlier optimism. Grayscale Delays IPO As Market Momentum Fades Grayscale confidentially filed its S-1 in July 2025 and publicly disclosed it in November, targeting a NYSE listing under ticker GRAY. The filing revealed $318.7 million in revenue for the first nine months of 2025, down 20% year-over-year, with net income at $203.3 million. Assets under management stood around $35 billion, driven by flagship products like GBTC and ETHE. Yet as of late May 2026, no IPO has launched. The company is holding off due to softer investor demand, Bitcoin volatility, and reduced trading volumes that pressure fee-based revenues. JUST IN: GRAYSCALE JUST PAUSED ITS IPO PLANS The firm behind the $GBTC Bitcoin Trust is one of the largest crypto asset managers in the world, and it filed confidentially to go public back in November. Kraken paused preparations in March 2026 after a November 2025 confidential filing, pushing potential listing to late 2026 or 2027. The exchange cited weak market conditions despite targeting a multibillion-dollar valuation. Consensys delayed its plans to at least fall 2026, while

Digital Credit Cannot Be Replicated With Bitcoin And Treasuries

Recently Onramp published a paper highlighting some issues of Digital Credit. There were some errors and the paper was clearly AI-generated in most places. My favorite error actually had little to do with Digital Credit, and it appeared in the preface of the report (imagine you havent even started reading the actual paper and you already see a factual error, this is the level of AI we are dealing with). Onramp writes on Page 3: “Strategy has released AI-generated advertising featuring a young, attractive model in a tropical setting” But a quick viewing of the 30-second ad they are referencing shows that the woman worked “hard as an engineer”, not a model. This is literally 10 seconds into the ad, which is about the same amount of time it took me to spot the error in Onramps preface. I just thought this anecdote was funny. Onto my main point. Their core argument was that Digital Credit could be better replicated by combining U.S. treasury securities with BTC. (This is what Onramp calls “the simpler trade” but I also fail to see how this is simpler considering that buying digital credit involves just one single ticker while “the simpler trade” involves a dynamic re-laddering of
