Abstract:Tether Freezes 32 Addresses Related to Terrorism and War in Israel and Ukraine

According to an official article, Tether has currently assisted 31 institutions globally in conducting investigations across 19 jurisdictions. They have frozen assets totaling $835 million. These assets are primarily related to theft (blockchain and exchange hacks), with a small portion related to other criminal activities.

Among these actions, Tether has frozen 32 addresses valued at $873,118.34. These addresses were found to be associated with illegal activities in Israel and Ukraine. Tether has maintained a collaborative effort with the Israeli National Bureau for Counter Terror Financing (NBCTF) to combat cryptocurrency-funded terrorism and warfare.
