3 Altcoins Could Hit New All-Time Highs in May 2026

Three altcoins sit within striking distance of fresh all-time highs as May 2026 approaches. WhiteBIT Coin (WBT), Tron (TRX), and Hyperliquid (HYPE) each trade closer to their peaks than most major altcoins on the market. WBT trades around 16% below its all-time high, TRX roughly 25% below, and HYPE about 33% below. That proximity to ATH levels positions all three as stronger short-term candidates for new highs than altcoins still deeply underwater. WhiteBIT Coin Tightens in a Range Below $57 Resistance WBT currently trades around $53.82 inside a horizontal parallel channel. The midline at $53 aligns with the 0.382 Fibonacci retracement and has repeatedly acted as both support and resistance throughout 2026 (blue circles). A breakout above the 0.618 Fibonacci retracement near $57 would open the path toward $60.50. The all-time high at $64.41 then sits less than 20% away. If a deeper correction unfolds, the 0.236 Fibonacci level near $50 should provide support. WBT daily chart / Source: Tradingview Daily RSI continues to hold its ascending support trendline within the neutral zone. MACD has turned slightly bearish but remains healthy overall. Volume is contracting, which suggests consolidation rather than distribution. Quarterly token burns, tightening exchange liquidity, and ecosystem growth tied to the Juventus partnership form the

How to Build a Top-Tier Enterprise Sales Team, Step by Step

Building a standout enterprise sales team isn‘t just important—it’s essential for scaling any company, especially as industries like crypto enter the enterprise adoption phase. As Jason Rosenthal from a16z details, the myth that great products sell themselves often leads founders to undervalue sales. But in reality, sales is as critical as engineering when it comes to sustaining growth and staying competitive. Here are the key steps to building a world-class sales organization according to Rosenthals playbook. Step 1: Hire Strategically Your first—and most important—hire is a sales leader. This person doesnt just manage the team; they write the playbook for how your company wins deals. They need a direct line to the CEO and a seat at the executive table. Founders often make the mistake of hiring junior salespeople first or delaying this hire too long. Both moves are costly. A capable sales leader will want to build and shape their own team and should be brought on as soon as the company is nearing product-market fit. The next hires include:Account Executives (AEs): These are your front-line deal closers. Look for candidates with a track record of selling into complex enterprise environments rather than relying on their Rolodex of contacts, which is often less

GM: Iran war causing cost increases, but pricey vehicles keep selling

GM CFO Paul Jacobson and Barra said the Detroit automaker is continuing to offset higher costs as best as it can through warranty improvements, cost efficiencies and potentially by deferring some hiring. “While our operating performance remains strong, as reflected in our excellent first-quarter results, the war in Iran has raised our costs and its duration remains uncertain,” Barra said. “We are working to offset these cost pressures by reducing spending in other areas and by continuing to find efficiencies across the business.” On a broader basis, GM on Tuesday said its first-quarter performance is expected to offset incremental increases in commodity and freight costs — including from logistics and higher DRAM chips — of $1.5 billion to $2 billion for the year. Dynamic random access memory, or DRAM, chips are semiconductors that are essential for powering infotainment, digital clusters, advanced driver assistance systems and EV systems in vehicles. But the DRAM costs arent related to the Iran war. Those price hikes are coming from increasing demand for the chips, including outside the automotive industry, according to industry experts at S&P Global Mobility. “Automotive is not the only industry vying for DRAM. The current supply crunch is driven by the AI explosion, especially in data

Aave, Compound Unveil Technical Plan to Address Fallout From $290M Kelp DAO Hack

The DeFi United coalition has published a technical implementation for restoring rsETH token backing following the Kelp DAO hack. The relief effort secured over $300 million in ETH commitments to eliminate bad debt on Aave and Compound. The plan converts committed ETH into rsETH, then liquidates hacker positions through governance-controlled oracle adjustments. Aave-led coalition DeFi United has published a technical plan to restore backing for rsETH tokens and eliminate bad debt left by North Korean hackers on and . The recovery strategy calls for converting committed ETH into rsETH in controlled tranches, then liquidating the attacker‘s positions through temporarily adjusted oracle prices. The coalition aims to recover approximately 13,000 ETH from affected positions on Aave’s and Arbitrum markets, and 16,776 ETH from Compound. The hackers had deposited 89,567 unbacked rsETH as collateral to borrow 82,650 WETH and 821 wstETH across the platforms. The Arbitrum Security Council has already frozen $71.5 million traced to the exploiters addresses. “Deliberate interference by the attacker could result in incomplete deficit accrual, requiring additional liquidation steps to fully resolve the positions,” Aave warned. The technical plan has backing from major industry players who have committed $303 million in total capital and credit as of Monday. Consensys and Joseph Lubin pledged up to

MegaETH to launch points system ahead of April 2026 token event

MegaETH is launching a Blast-like points system to incentivize app usage before its token generation event on April 30, 2026, with odds for a token launch by that date at 98% YES, up from 94% yesterday. Market reaction The April 30 sub-market saw a 5-point spike at 11:17 PM (86% → 91%) and now sits at 98% YES. The June 30 and later date sub-markets remain at 99.8% YES, meaning traders broadly agree the launch will happen soon regardless of the exact date. Why it matters MegaETHs post-launch market cap prospects are tied to whether the points system actually drives app usage and ecosystem growth. Direct impact on market cap odds remains unclear compared to the token launch itself. The points system is designed to hit KPI-based milestones by pulling users into the app ecosystem before the TGE. What to watch The April 30 market has $350,409 in actual USDC traded, and it takes $338,447 to move the price 5 percentage points, so this market is not easily pushed around by small trades. At 98¢, a YES share pays $1 if MegaETH launches by April 30, which is a near-certain return with minimal upside. Traders looking for value might find more opportunity in less certain markets. Key

Binance face ID locked out ALS patient for 5 months

A former Argentine senator with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) says Binances facial ID system stopped recognizing him after the disease changed his appearance. Esteban Bullrich, who served as Argentinas Minister of Education from 2015 to 2017 under former president Mauricio Macri, claimed the exchange froze his crypto holdings for five months while bitcoin (BTC) declined from the $90,000s to the $70,000s. Eventually, Binance co-CEO Richard Teng personally intervened after his complaint went viral on social media. . The 56-year-old, who revealed his diagnosis in April 2021, wrote that Binances Face ID had stopped recognizing him five months ago. He said the company offered no accessible alternative for users with his type of disability. Fortunately, his post, tagged to founder Changpeng Zhao and Teng, gained their attention. 300 million users before a Binance ID fix for ALS Binance crossed 300 million registered users in December 2025 three years after it rolled out biometric authentication on its mobile app in 2022, according to Clarín, the Argentine outlet that broke the story. Bullrichs lockout, however, exposed a basic engineering oversight. ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that paralyzes muscles, including those in the face. Anyone designing a biometric identity stack should have anticipated that faces sometimes morph due to muscular changes. This oversight

Regulation turns the screw: AML becomes crypto’s kill‑switch, audits turn into licenses

CertiK‘s 2026 report argues that the age of arguing whether a token is or isn’t a security is no longer the core battlefield; the real threat now is AML.CertiKs “2026 Digital Asset Regulatory Status” report says major jurisdictions have now locked in core rulebooks, pushing the industry into a “strong compliance era” where enforcement risk is defined more by AML than securities law fights.Anti‑money‑laundering actions have become the primary regulatory kill‑switch, with AML‑related fines exceeding $900 million in the first half of 2025 alone, outpacing headline securities‑classification cases.Smart contract audits are shifting from best‑practice hygiene to a hard condition for licensing and centralized listings, while stablecoin regimes converge on full reserves, licensed issuers, and bank‑style oversight. CertiK‘s 2026 report argues that the age of arguing whether a token is or isn’t a security is no longer the core battlefield; the real threat now is AML enforcement that can instantly cut off banking, fiat ramps, or exchange access. AML overtakes securities fights as main risk vector With more than $900 million in AML‑related fines handed out in just the first half of 2025, regulators have shown they are more willing to punish gaps in KYT, sanctions screening, and suspicious activity reporting than to chase

Airbus (AIR) Stock Tumbles as Q1 Profit Plunges 52% Amid Delivery Challenges

Airbus SE, AIR.DE The primary concern centers on delivery performance. The aircraft manufacturer completed handovers of only 114 commercial planes during Q1, marking a 16% decrease from 136 units delivered in the comparable 2025 period. This figure also trailed competitor Boeing, which managed 143 aircraft deliveries during the identical timeframe — a particularly noteworthy contrast considering Boeings well-documented operational challenges. The root cause remains consistent: inadequate engine supply. U.S.-based supplier Pratt & Whitney has persistently delivered engines behind schedule, effectively capping Airbuss production capacity. The dispute has escalated to legal proceedings — Reuters disclosed in March that Airbus is actively pursuing compensation claims against the supplier for delivery delays. Production Output Continues to Challenge Growth The aerospace company maintained its annual guidance unchanged, continuing to target 870 commercial aircraft deliveries throughout 2026. Management also confirmed its production rate objective of 70 to 75 A320-family aircraft monthly by the conclusion of 2027 — a target already revised downward in February from the initial ambition of 75 units per month by early that year. Reaching the full-year delivery target from the current quarterly pace of 114 units will necessitate substantial production acceleration in coming quarters. Jefferies analysts articulated the challenge directly before earnings release: “The pace at

Billions Faces Backlash Over Last-Minute Token Unlock Changes

Billions revised its token unlock terms before TGE, frustrating early sale buyers.Kaito CEO Yu Hu said exchange-listing pressure pushed Billions to adjust the plan.Refunds and bonus lock-ups now define the dispute as users question late sale changes. Billions Network is facing fresh community backlash after revising its token unlock structure before its Token Generation Event (TGE). The change has frustrated early sale participants who expected quicker access to their tokens. The dispute intensified after Kaito CEO Yu Hu said the Billions team had warned in March that the projects original unlock plan was creating problems in exchange-listing discussions. According to Hu, the issue centered on a 5.6% day-one launchpad unlock, which reportedly made some exchanges uncomfortable ahead of the listing process. Under the latest update shared on X, participants were given three options. They can request a full refund, keep their original token allocation with a 25% bonus and a six-month lock-up, or keep their allocation with a 50% bonus and a 12-month lock-up. Billions said refunds will be processed sequentially from May 19. Kaito CEO Says Listing Pressure Drove the Change Hu said Kaito did not benefit from the revised structure and understood why users were frustrated. He added that Kaito pushed for the

He was named a First Team All-Pro selection during his rookie season after rushing for 1,429 yards on what would end up being a career high 4.9 yards per carry. The bruising running back known as “the Bus” would spend the first three years of his career with the Rams before spending his most memorable stint with the Steelers. Bettis spent the final 10 years of his career in Pittsburgh, winning Super Bowl LX in his final game in his hometown of Detroit at the conclusion of the 2005 season. Bettis led the Steelers to six playoff appearances and ended his career as the NFLs fifth all-time leading rusher after notching four Pro Bowl bids and three All-Pro selections with Pittsburgh. “It‘s a generational fan base,” said Bettis in a one-on-one interview.
