Why Did Harvard Dump Its Entire $87M Ethereum ETF After 3 Months?

Harvard Management Company has sold its entire $87 million position in BlackRocks iShares Ethereum ETF during the first quarter of 2026, according to its latest 13F filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The move ended a short-lived exposure to Ethereum through an exchange-traded product that had been opened in the fourth quarter of 2025. The shows that Harvard exited the Ethereum ETF position during a weak period for the broader crypto market. Ethereum fell sharply in early 2026, reaching the $1,800 area in February as investors reduced exposure to risk assets. ETH has also remained under pressure in recent weeks, declining over the past month as sentiment toward the asset weakened. Harvard did not provide a public explanation for the sale in the filing. The move may reflect portfolio rebalancing, risk management, or a decision to reduce exposure after Ethereums price decline. The transaction involved ETF shares rather than Ethereum held directly onchain, meaning the sale did not represent a direct transfer of ETH from Harvard-controlled crypto wallets. Harvard Cuts Ethereum ETF Exposure Harvard Management Company manages Harvard Universitys endowment fund and regularly reports certain public holdings through quarterly 13F filings. The latest filing showed a full exit from the Ethereum ETF

GCC, a global initiative that UNICEF’s Office of Innovation created, exists to fast-track access to digital education in underserved regions. The initiative brings together the private and public sector to create a technology education ecosystem, educating young people about emerging economies, especially girls. Current reports suggest that girls make up 52% of the participants of these educational programs. Active across countries including Armenia, Brazil, Cambodia, India, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Morocco, and South Africa, the coalitions goal is to build practical digital skills among youngsters. Analyst Warns XRP Could Shake Out Traders Before Breakout

They say journalists never truly clock out. But for Christian, that‘s not just a metaphor, it’s a lifestyle. By day, he navigates the ever-shifting tides of the cryptocurrency market, wielding words like a seasoned editor and crafting articles that decipher the jargon for the masses. When the PC goes on hibernate mode, however, his pursuits take a more mechanical (and sometimes philosophical) turn. Christians journey with the written word began long before the age of Bitcoin. In the hallowed halls of academia, he honed his craft as a feature writer for his college paper. This early love for storytelling paved the way for a successful stint as an editor at a data engineering firm, where his first-month essay win funded a months-long supply of doggie and kitty treats – a testament to his dedication to his furry companions (more on that later). Christian then roamed the world of journalism, working at newspapers in Canada and even South Korea. He finally settled down at a local news giant in his hometown in the Philippines for a decade, becoming a total news junkie. But then, something new caught his eye: cryptocurrency. It was like a treasure hunt mixed with storytelling – right up his

Michael Saylor Draws Mixed Reactions After AI Video Goes Viral

Bitcoin failed to hold above $78,000 as macro-pressure fears weighed on risk markets.Crypto traders mocked Michael Saylor after an AI-generated video spread across social media.Strategy bought 24,869 BTC for $2.01 billion, raising total holdings to 843,738 BTC. Bitcoin pushed toward $78,000 but lost momentum as macro pressure returned and crypto traders turned their attention toward Michael Saylor for a very different reason. An AI-generated video featuring Strategy executives quickly circulated on crypto X, drawing widespread ridicule. The clip transformed a May 20 interview featuring Michael Saylor, CEO Phong Le, and host Natalie Brunell into a neon-colored rave filled with flashing “HODL” and “CRINGE” graphics. The reaction was immediate, with traders calling it “AI slop,” “peak cringe,” and a local top signal for Bitcoin. One user mocked the situation by saying Bitcoin was bought up by boomers only for those same boomers to start posting AI-generated content about it. A smaller group defended Saylor, arguing he had earned the right to celebrate after building the largest corporate Bitcoin position in the market. Strategy Keeps Buying Despite Market Weakness The backlash arrived only days after Strategy disclosed another major Bitcoin purchase. According to an SEC filing released Monday, the company bought 24,869 BTC between May 11 and May 17

How To Evaluate Newly Launched Online Casinos In Canada

A freshly launched online casino can look convincing within minutes. Polished design, a long list of payment options, bold claims about instant payouts, sometimes even crypto support. None of that tells you whether the operator is licensed, whether the games are independently tested, or whether your withdrawal will actually arrive. Established brands at least carry a public track record: player forums, payout histories, regulatory decisions. A new entrant has almost none of that. So the burden of verification shifts entirely to the reader. What this article is about: This is not a ranking of casino brands. It is a framework for checking legality, fairness, payment infrastructure, and operator transparency before you register at any newly launched site in the Canadian market. Why Newly Launched Casino Brands Need Extra Scrutiny When a casino brand is weeks or months old, the usual shortcuts for judging reliability do not exist yet. There are no long-term payout records, no multi-year player discussions, and no independent audit trail that anyone outside the company can inspect. What you do get is marketing: bonus headlines, game counts, and payment logos. That gap between what is visible and what is verifiable is exactly where problems emerge. OKX-ICE Launch Oil Perps to 120M Users, China Halts Brokers, Polymarket Hit for $700K

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, has partnered with OKX to bring perpetual oil futures contracts to the cryptocurrency platform‘s roughly 120 million retail traders. The new perpetual products will draw on ICE’s Brent crude and West Texas Intermediate (WTI) benchmark pricing, marking another bridge between traditional commodity markets and digital asset venues. The contracts will roll out in jurisdictions where OKX already holds licenses to offer perpetual derivatives. ICE holds an equity stake in OKX and the two firms previously signed a March agreement to develop blockchain infrastructure enabling tokenized securities trading on NYSE and crypto futures access for ICE clients. Prediction market platform Polymarket confirmed Friday that an internal rewards wallet was drained in what appears to be a private key compromise, with on-chain analytics estimating losses of approximately $700,000. The affected wallet handled only internal top-up operations and did not touch user funds, smart contracts, or market resolution mechanisms, according to the platform‘s development team. On-chain investigators traced the stolen proceeds across sixteen destination addresses, with funds subsequently routed through centralized exchanges and other obfuscation services. Polymarket’s core infrastructure on the Polygon network remains operational, though the incident underscores ongoing operational security challenges

Solana Price Prediction: Can SOL Reclaim Momentum Above $98?

Solana is trying to hold rising support as buyers push toward the $95 and $98 resistance zone. A stronger recovery needs a weekly move above $124, while a drop below $83 could send SOL back toward deeper support. Solana is trying to recover from rising support on the short-term chart, with $95 and $98 now acting as the first major tests for buyers. A stronger move needs a weekly reclaim of $124, while a loss of $83 would put deeper support near $60 back in focus. Solana Holds Rising Support as $98 Target Comes Back Into View Solana is bouncing from a rising trendline on the 8-hour chart, while the chart shared by Satoshi Flipper points to $98 as the next major resistance. The setup shows SOL holding a higher support structure after its latest pullback. The price recently tested the trendline and reacted from that area. This keeps the short-term bullish structure active, as long as SOL stays above the rising support. SOL 8H Trendline Chart. Source: The RSI also bounced from the lower zone near 30, which shows selling pressure started to cool. That supports the idea of a recovery attempt, but SOL still needs follow-through.
