Strong pricing, higher shipment volumes, and disciplined capital allocation supported another quarter of earnings growth. Nucor Corporation, NUE Steel Mills Drive Higher Quarterly Earnings Nucor reported second-quarter 2026 net earnings of $1.16 billion, or $5.04 per diluted share. Adjusted net earnings reached $1.11 billion, or $4.84 per diluted share, excluding a non-cash investment benefit. The results improved from $743 million, or $3.23 per diluted share, reported during the first quarter. The company also exceeded the prior-year period by a wide margin. Second-quarter 2025 net earnings totaled $603 million, or $2.60 per diluted share. Higher steel prices and stronger shipment volumes supported the year-over-year increase across major operations. Steel mills generated earnings before taxes of $1.56 billion during the quarter. That result increased from $1.13 billion in the previous quarter.
