Technical analysis and signals: S&P, Nasdaq and Dow Jones

Finance Technical analysis and signals: S&P, Nasdaq and Dow Jones We have dipped to support at 7530/20 & longs need stops below 7510. So far the trade is working as we bounce to 7548 & hopefully can target 7555 before a retest of the new all time high at 7569. Then a break higher targets 7590/7595, perhaps as far as 7645/55. However a break below 7510 risks a slide to 7490/7485, with good support at 7465/60. Nasdaq futures Emini Nasdaq June futures beats the all time high at 29782 for a buy signal. Targets: 29950/30000 (already hit) then 30450/490. We held first support at 29750/29650 & longs need stops below 29550 if retested today. Emini Dow Jones futures Emini Dow Jones June beat all time high at 50292 for a buy signal targeting 50630/690 then 50940/990. Both targets hit with a new all time high at 51209…but we have unexpectedly collapsed. First support at 50300/50200 & longs need stops below 50000. Just be aware that a break above the all time high can target 52050/52150.

Brent: Pullback from recent peak tempers yields – Danske Bank

Finance Brent: Pullback from recent peak tempers yields – Danske Bank Danske Research Team highlights that Brent Oil has eased from a recent high near USD 100.5 per barrel to around USD 98. The move is described as limited, but sufficient to take some pressure off US Treasury yields. They suggest that Oil-driven rate volatility has moderated slightly in the latest session. Price eases back below recent highs “In the US-Iran war, Iran condemned the US attacks on Iranian vessels and missile launch sites on Monday evening, arguing that they were a violation of the ceasefire. Irans Revolutionary Guard reserved the right to retaliate.” “Despite the escalating tensions, back-channel talks between the two sides appear to continue, with both parties believed to be seeking a diplomatic resolution.” “Signs of normalisation are also emerging domestically, as Iran began restoring public internet access after one of the worlds longest nationwide blackout periods.” “Brent oil is declining somewhat overnight from yesterdays peak of USD 100.5/bbl down to USD 98/bbl”

China’s top judiciary studies new rules for virtual currency cases

Chinas top court officials have signaled fresh scrutiny of cryptocurrency-related disputes after authorities said they would study judicial rules for cases involving virtual currencies and cross-border finance.China‘s Supreme People’s Court said it will study judicial rules for crypto and cross-border finance-related disputes.Chinese regulators have already expanded crypto restrictions this year to cover offshore yuan stablecoins and tokenized real-world assets. While mainland China continues its crypto ban, Hong Kong has moved ahead with stablecoin licensing and virtual asset regulations. According to comments made during a Wednesday press conference in Beijing, Liu Guixiang, a member of the judicial committee at China‘s Supreme People’s Court, said Chinese courts would carry out deeper research into adjudication standards tied to “emerging cases” involving virtual currencies and overseas financial activity. Liu also said judicial authorities would accelerate work on legal interpretations related to civil compensation in insider trading and market manipulation cases, though he did not provide a timeline for the measures. Held under the framework of China‘s “15th Five-Year Plan,” the briefing formed part of the country’s long-term policy roadmap through 2030, which includes cybersecurity integration across digital governance and financial infrastructure. Even as mainland China continues enforcing one of the worlds strictest crypto crackdowns, local courts have previously treated

ATOM Price Prediction: $2.22 Breakout Within 72 Hours or Swift Drop to $1.90

Market Context: Why ATOM is Moving Now Cosmos has been grinding higher in a methodical climb thats caught the attention of both retail and institutional players. The token has pushed above multiple moving averages, trading at $2.14 with the 7-day SMA at $2.08 and the crucial 200-day SMA at $2.10. This positioning above long-term trend indicators suggests the recent accumulation phase is transitioning into something more significant. The interchain narrative that originally drove ATOM‘s value proposition continues to gain traction as cross-chain infrastructure becomes increasingly critical. However, the current price action is less about fundamental catalysts and more about technical positioning ahead of a potential breakout. Blockchain.news analysis shows that ATOM’s recent consolidation pattern mirrors previous accumulation phases that preceded major moves. Technical Setup Points to Imminent Resolution ATOM finds itself in a classic compression zone that typically precedes explosive moves. The RSI at 61.81 shows bullish momentum without overbought conditions, while the MACD histogram sits at exactly zero—a neutral stance that often marks the calm before major directional moves. These indicators converge with the Bollinger Band position at 0.90, placing ATOM directly against upper resistance at $2.17. The narrow trading range between $2.12 and $2.18 over the past 24 hours confirms this compression is

Hyperliquid Launches Prediction Markets for Offchain Events

Tech Hyperliquid Launches Prediction Markets for Offchain Events Decentralized exchange (DEX) Hyperliquid launched canonical prediction markets for offchain events, as the platform starts expanding beyond perpetual futures. Validators run automated newsfeed software that publishes the markets and votes on deployment and settlement, Hyperliquid said in a Monday Telegram post. The markets are built on Hyperliquid‘s HIP-4 and use Circle’s USDC (USDC) as the quote asset. Hyperliquid said the first markets will open based on the May Consumer Price Index (CPI) year-over-year change and the June federal funds rate decision. The launch puts prediction markets inside Hyperliquids existing trading stack, allowing users to trade event outcomes alongside spot and perpetual futures rather than moving collateral to a separate platform. The rollout adds weight to a thesis advanced by Delphi Digital that Hyperliquid is evolving from a perp DEX into a broader onchain financial venue. “Whats different now is that the stack is finally mature enough for true crypto superapps (aggregated giants) to exist without being limited to the wallet form factor,” Delphi said in a December research report. The HYPE tokens price soared by 20% when Hyperliquid first announced plans to launch prediction market functionalities, Cointelegraph reported in February. Is Hyperliquid cryptos next “super-app”? Hyperliquids expanding functionalities are making it the

XRP Trader Returns Hit 6-Year Low Amid Extreme Fear Signal

Tech XRP Trader Returns Hit 6-Year Low Amid Extreme Fear Signal XRP Hits 6-Year Low in Trader Returns as Extreme Fear Signals Potential Rebound XRPs average trader returns have fallen to their in six years, according to on-chain data from Santiment Intelligence, placing the asset in what analysts describe as a deep undervaluation zone. More notably, XRPs 30-day MVRV ratio, a key gauge of short-term profitability, has dropped to levels last seen in December 2020. In practical terms, the average XRP trader active over the past month is now down about 47%, reflecting a broad wave of recent capitulation. Per CoinCodex data, XRP is at $1.34. Source: CoinCodex Historically, such deeply negative MVRV readings have tended to cluster near major market bottoms. When short-term holders are heavily underwater, selling pressure often exhausts itself, leaving the market in a state where most weak hands have already exited. In past cycles, this setup has frequently preceded strong relief rallies once sentiment stabilizes. This latest downturn follows XRP‘s strong rally through late 2024 and 2025 that resulted in an , when optimism around Ripple’s regulatory progress, rising institutional interest, and ETF speculation drove aggressive upside momentum. Nevertheless, as price action cooled, late entrants were caught at elevated levels and forced into losses

THORChain approves ADR028 as RUNE holders await network restart

THORChain said developers and security teams are still working to bring the network back online after the May 15 incident. THORChain nodes approved ADR028, moving the network closer to a staged restart after the exploit. The hacker bounty is now active, while protocol-owned liquidity is expected to cover remaining losses.Developers are preparing v3.19.0 testing as tss-lib enters a temporary closed security audit period. In its latest update, the protocol said the focus is on restoring the network safely, “without rushing any steps.” The update comes after THORChains official exploit report said the network lost about $10.7 million from one of five vaults. The report said a newly churned node operator entered the network two days before the exploit and used a GG20 Threshold Signature Scheme vulnerability to drain the affected vault. The remaining four vaults were not affected. THORChain said nodes have upgraded to v3.18.1, a patch that also restores Rujira Networks ability to manage credit accounts, including borrowing and repayments. The next step is cutting and testing v3.19.0, which will include more changes before any mainnet push. The protocol said the release is expected to move to stagenet by the end of the following day, but added that an “exact timeline is yet to

Ripple is expanding institutional finance ambitions while XRP traders are losing confidence

Tech Ripple is expanding institutional finance ambitions while XRP traders are losing confidence XRPs latest decline is exposing a widening split between traders betting on more weakness and investors using the selloff to build exposure. Over the past few weeks, the digital asset has faced sustained downward pressure driven by capitulating short-term holders and aggressive short selling in futures markets. However, underlying spot demand has proved resilient, as evidenced by XRP-linked exchange-traded funds being on track to record their strongest monthly performance of the year. This market disconnect is playing out as Ripple accelerates its expansion into institutional finance, providing long-term investors with a structural adoption narrative even as momentum traders exit at a loss. For market participants, the critical question is whether XRP is establishing a macro accumulation base or simply pausing within an extended downtrend. Trader losses mount as sentiment sours Beneath XRPs sluggish price action lies significant retail distress. According to blockchain analytics firm Santiment, the average trader active in the token over the past 30 days is holding unrealized losses of roughly 47%. The drawdown has pushed XRPs 30-day market-value-to-realized-value (MVRV) ratio to its lowest point since December 2020. OpenZeppelin’s Manuel Aráoz advises exiting DeFi, calls it unsafe

Crypto security concerns have intensified after OpenZeppelin co-founder Manuel Aráoz said he has advised friends and family to exit all decentralized finance positions, including exposure to major lending protocols.OpenZeppelin co-founder Manuel Aráoz said he has advised friends and family to exit all DeFi positions, including exposure to Aave, MakerDAO, and Compound.DeFi protocols lost nearly $630 million to hacks in April, with Drift and Kelp DAO accounting for most of the monthly losses.Total value locked across the DeFi market has fallen roughly 14% since mid April as exploit incidents continued into May. In a post published Tuesday on X, Aráoz said he no longer considers “all of DeFi” safe, arguing that the balance between attackers and defenders has tilted too far in favor of hackers. Even lower-risk positions tied to established protocols such as Aave, MakerDAO, and Compound were included in his warning. PSA: I now consider *all* of DeFi unsafe. Coding agents are superhuman at finding vulnerabilities, and smart contract security is too asymmetric: defenders need to fix every bug while attackers need just one exploit to steal funds. — Manuel Aráoz (@maraoz) May 26, 2026 Describing the current state of smart contract security, Aráoz said coding agents have become “superhuman at finding vulnerabilities,” while
