XRP to $2? Analyzing How Nasdaq Listing Could Impact Token Price

Next Thursday, October 8, 2026, trading in Evernorth shares under the ticker XRPN will begin on Nasdaq. The market is getting a new kind of player. This is not a passive ETF, but a fully fledged treasury ready to work directly with the Ripple and XRP Ledger ecosystem. Evernorths financial foundation is 473 million XRP on its balance sheet. This is the largest legally held XRP pool among publicly traded companies worldwide. The merger with SPAC Armada II, approved by shareholders on September 30, attracted more than $1 billion in combined investments. Its anchor investors include Ripple, SBI Group, Pantera Capital, and the Kraken exchange. Instead of freezing the assets, Evernorth will deploy the coins in DeFi protocols and arbitrage trades on the XRP Ledger. The goal is to continuously increase the amount of net XRP held per XRPN share. For the tokens spot market, this means a large-scale withdrawal of liquidity from circulation. When large volumes move into a publicly traded companys treasury, a supply crunch emerges. If current demand holds, this becomes the main fundamental driver toward $2. A coiled spring and a green October: What is happening with the price right now The Nasdaq launch coincides with maximum tension on the price

Citadel Says Wall Streets Biggest Buyers Are Ready to Reload Stocks in Q4

New SEC crypto rules threaten small advisers, but big firms win

The US Securities and Exchange Commissions proposed crypto custody fallback could broaden investment choices while making them easier for larger advisers to offer. The agencys economic analysis says the expense of safeguarding assets and arranging independent oversight may lead smaller firms to decline to offer the service. Approved on Oct. 1, the proposal would let advisers hold covered client crypto assets when an eligible custodian is unavailable, subject to safeguards. Table 8 models certain annual costs of $433,833 per adviser using that option. That estimate includes an independent control report but leaves out some potentially significant technology costs. For clients, the consequence could be that an asset might become available through an adviser with sufficient custody resources while remaining outside another advisers offering. SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce distinguished adviser “self-custody” from investors holding their own assets. Nvidia Hits Record High, Wall Street Still Sees Up to 99% Upside

Nvidia stock finally broke through on October 2. Shares hit a new all-time intraday high of about $237.83, overtaking the previous May record. The immediate catalyst came from Morgan Stanley. Analyst Joseph Moore restored Nvidia as the firms top semiconductor pick after meetings with CEO Jensen Huang and CFO Colette Kress. Why Nvidia Stock Price Surged to a Record High Morgan Stanley kept its Overweight rating and $300 price target, pointing to Nvidias new product cycle and growing demand from AI labs and agentic AI. Netflix Stock Lost Nearly 50% of Its Value in a Year. Will It Keep Falling?

Netflix stock trades near $68, roughly half its June 2025 record of $134. Co-CEO Ted Sarandos admitted on Thursday that the streamer is growing more slowly than he wants. Sarandos blames the slowdown largely on Netflixs own spending choices. However, a growing camp of investors sees a bigger threat in rivals with far deeper pockets. Why is Netflix Stock Dropping? Speaking at Bloombergs Screentime event in Los Angeles, Sarandos named live programming as a key drag on growth. “Overall, were not growing as fast as I want us to… We are, though, also doing things that create a lot of headwind.” Ted Sarandos, co-CEO of Netflix, via Yahoo Live events absorb about 5% of Netflixs $20 billion annual content budget. Aave founder says V3 unaffected after third-party adapter exploit drains $305K

Aave founder Stani Kulechov said Aave v3 was unaffected by an exploit that drained roughly $305,000 from two Safe multisig wallets through a third-party adapter built on top of the lending protocol. “This is not Aave v3 contract, its third party external adapter built on top of Aave, zero effect on Aave v3,” Kulechov said on X. Blockchain security firm SlowMist said the attack targeted a module used to open and close leveraged Aave v3 positions through Safe wallets. The attacker exploited an access-control flaw that allowed a fake Safe contract to pass the adapters authorization check. SlowMist said the adapter also allowed the caller to control the router and transaction data used for swaps. The attacker used that functionality to execute transactions through the victim Safes and drain weETH and collateral. Around 1,300 wrapped Ether (WETH) in debt was repaid during the attack to unlock collateral, according to SlowMist. The attacker ultimately stole about 114.09 Ether (ETH), worth roughly $305,000, from two Safe multisigs. The security firm identified the vulnerable FlashLoopAdapter contract and the attackers wallet but did not report any losses to Aave v3 itself. Ethereum layer-2 network Blast is shutting down after its operating costs exceeded the revenue generated by the chain. In a Friday post on X, Blast said it sees no “credible path” to making the network economically sustainable and asked users to withdraw their assets to Ethereum mainnet. “We launched Blast with the goal of building a self-sustaining chain for users and developers,” the team said. “Unfortunately, the economics of operating the chain no longer make sense.” Source: Blast The network will reduce its withdrawal delay to 24 hours, though withdrawals will be temporarily unavailable while Blast unwinds its Lido assets, a process expected to take about a week. Users will have until Oct. 26 to withdraw through Blasts interface. After that, assets will remain accessible, but withdrawals will require users to interact directly with the Blast bridge contracts on Ethereum. Blast said it will publish instructions for withdrawing directly through the bridge contracts ahead of the Oct. 26 cutoff and urged users to move their assets to Ethereum mainnet before then.
