In this issue, the investigation team went to Tokyo, Japan to visit the cryptocurrency exchange BITPoint Japan Co., Ltd. as planned according to its registered regulatory address that 36F, Grand Tower, Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan.

The investigation team arrived at the destination on February 28, 2023. According to the on-site investigation, it was confirmed that the company was located at the Sumitomo Shintoranomon Building, 4-3-9, Toranomon, Minato City, rather than the Grand Tower. And the survey team spotted that the company was situated at the second floor of the Sumitomo Shintoranomon Building from the company directory. Meanwhile, the company was operating business normally, with cryptocurrency related documents on the door. People were free to enter the company without a reception desk or security guard.

Conclusion

The survey personnel went to Tokyo, Japan to visit the cryptocurrency exchange BITPoint Japan Co., Ltd. as scheduled, and found the company’s business office at the 2F of Sumitomo Shintoranomon Building, instead of the 36F of the Grand Tower in Roppongi. Therefore, investors are advised to make a sensible choice based on a comprehensive consideration.
