Defi Cross-chain Interoperability Protocol Nomad Raise $22.4m Protocol for cross-chain interoperab

Zusammenfassung:Protocol for Defi cross-chain interoperability The crypto industry's top has invested $22.4 million in Nomad.

Polychain, a cryptocurrency investment business, led the financing. Crypto.com Capital, Wintermute, Gnosis, Algaé, and Polygon were among those who took part. Coinbase Ventures, OpenSea, and other newcomers are also participating.

This round of funding will be used to expand Nomad to other blockchains, allowing it to build a more secure cross-chain bridge encryption ecosystem in which different blockchains can communicate more securely and cost-effectively, avoiding hackers like the $625 million attack on Axie Infinity's Ronin network in March.

“Because Nomad provides a trust-minimized protocol for cross-chain transmission, there are possible uses that go way beyond just token bridging,” said Anurag Arjun, co-founder of Polygon. We are looking forward to seeing some intriguing new use cases emerge on-chain.

To maintain network security, Nomad is a cross-chain communication protocol that employs an Optimistic fraud-proof technique. Observers can question messages using on-chain fraud proofs without relying on custodians or validators with optimistic verification.

Cross-Chain Bridge Nomad now has over 14,000 users and a total transaction volume of $700 million.

Cross-chain operations are now supported on the Ethereum mainnet as well as the Moonbeam, Evmos, and Avalanche blockchains, allowing developers to create cross-chain apps (or xApps) such as token bridges, native cross-chain assets, cross-chain governance applications, and so on.
