Binance Expands ETF Perpetual Offering as Trading Volume Exceeds $116B

摘要:Binance‘s ETF perpetual contracts have surpassed $116 billion in trading volume since their March 2026 launch, boosting the exchange’s market share in the segment from 18% to 74%, making it the dominant player. The growth is fueled by a global ETF boom, with worldwide ETF trading volumes recently hitting a record $23 trillion, and traders seeking 24/7 access to both long and short positions. ETF perpetuals now account for 19% of Binances TradFi perpetual trading. The exchange has also expanded its product lineup to 146 trading pairs, adding 35 in the past month, including broad-market funds like SPY and QQQ, sector-focused ETFs, and leveraged or inverse contracts. Increased liquidity and tighter spreads have created a virtuous cycle attracting more participants and driving higher volumes.

Market share for Binances ETF perpetual business has climbed to 74% as trading volume exceeded $116 billion.

Binance is strengthening its position in the fast-growing ETF perpetual market. Less than a year after launching the products, trading volume has exceeded $116 billion. Rising participation has lifted the exchanges market share from 18% to 74%, making it the largest player in the segment.

Global ETF Boom Fuels Crypto Derivatives Demand

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance says trading volume in its ETF perpetual contracts has exceeded $116 billion since the products launched in March 2026. According to data, Binances market share in the segment climbed from 18% at launch to 74%, making it the dominant venue for ETF perpetual trading.

Growth in crypto ETF derivatives comes as global ETF markets continue expanding. Worldwide ETF trading volumes recently reached a record $23 trillion, reflecting rising demand for exchange-traded investment products. Part of that interest has now shifted toward crypto platforms offering similar market exposure through perpetual contracts.

Current figures also show ETF perpetuals account for 19% of all TradFi perpetual trading on Binance. As such, rapid growth over the past months suggests traders are increasingly turning to these products for round-the-clock access to global markets.

Meanwhile, liquidity has played a major role in Binances rising share. Larger order books generally produce tighter spreads and lower slippage, making trading more efficient. Increased activity then attracts additional participants, creating a cycle that supports higher trading volumes.

Binance Broadens TradFi Perpetual Lineup

Binance has also expanded its product catalogue at a rapid pace. Its TradFi perpetual offering now includes 146 trading pairs, with 35 new pairs added over the past month.

Available products span a wide range of market segments, giving traders access to broad-market ETFs such as SPY and QQQ. Sector-focused funds, including semiconductor ETFs, are also part of the offering. Country-focused products, as well as leveraged and inverse ETF contracts, are also available.

Around-the-clock trading remains another factor attracting users. Unlike traditional ETF markets, which operate during fixed exchange hours, perpetual contracts are available 24/7. Many traders also prefer the flexibility to take both long and short positions instead of waiting for markets to reopen.
