Dogecoin Contributor Outlines Steps for Real DOGE Ecosystem Growth

摘要:Dogecoin community member reveals what must be done to help DOGE thrive.

In an X post to commercial ventures building for the Dogecoin, DOGE community member Mishaboar laid out a few steps to support the growth of the Dogecoin ecosystem.

Mishaboar identified support for Dogecoin Core and its development as a top priority. “If you are a commercial venture building for the Dogecoin ecosystem and you want to see it grow, including its open-source projects, support Dogecoin Core and its development,” Mishaboar wrote.

In this regard, Mishaboar noted that supporting Dogecoin Core and its development requires keeping it secure and up to date. There is also a real need for good, rigorous engineers reviewing code, which he stated is very crucial, as well as making well-argued, thoroughly researched proposals.

The Dogecoin community member stressed the necessity for rigorous code review, saying it is “truly crucial now more than ever.”

If you are a commercial venture building for the Dogecoin ecosystem and you want to see it grow, including its open-source projects:- Support Dogecoin Core and its development. Help keep it secure and up to date. There is a real need for good, rigorous engineers reviewing code (crucial) and making well-argued, thoroughly researched proposals. People's respect for Dogecoin starts here, IMO.The review part is truly crucial, now more than ever.- Support the ecosystem at large, including alternative node implementations and open-source projects from small independent developers.- Support rigorous, data-backed research into ways to improve Dogecoin, with full transparency.- Of course, create technically sound, transparent commercial products with clearly stated business models and risk disclosures. Care about your users.Big names who supported Doge in the past clearly stated that its open nature, its decentralization, and the fact that nobody could control it were its greatest assets (alongside the dog in the logo).

Along these lines, Mishaboar urged commercial ventures building for Dogecoin to support the ecosystem at large, including alternative node implementations and open-source projects from small independent developers. They should also support rigorous, data-backed research into ways to improve Dogecoin, with full transparency.

Another way these ventures could support the Dogecoin ecosystem is to create technically sound, transparent commercial products with clearly stated business models and risk disclosures, with Mishaboar urging them to “care about your users.”

“Big names who supported Doge in the past clearly stated that its open nature, its decentralization, and the fact that nobody could control it were its greatest assets (alongside the dog in the logo),” Mishaboar concluded in his lengthy X post.

Dogecoin Labs launches

Mishaboar's X post comes just days after the launch of Dogecoin Labs, which unites Dogecoin's product teams, technology, and applications to lead a new chapter for Dogecoin.

On October 21, 2026, Dogecoin Labs announced its formation in partnership with the Dogecoin Foundation, consolidating products, intellectual property, and development teams behind the Dogecoin ecosystem into one independent organization.

Dogecoin Labs will own and operate MyDoge, DogeOS, and Such App, with the consolidation following the recent launches of the DogeOS public testnet and MyDoge V3. DogeOS gives developers a place to build, while MyDoge puts their applications in front of millions of Dogecoin holders.
