XRP Sets 187% Boost: Ledger Points to Bullish Market

摘要:XRP is clearly closer to the proper bullish retrace rather than a temporary market spike.

With transactions processed per ledger increasing by 187.9%, XRP Ledger is displaying yet another anomalous change in network activity. The increase, when paired with XRP's recent price breakout, indicates that the network is managing significantly more activity at each ledger close, despite a decline in a number of key metrics.

XRP's fundmental growth

According to the most recent data, transactions per ledger are at 189.29, which is the network-activity indicator with the biggest positive change. Another indication that transactional demand is still high is the 19.3% increase in payments to roughly 568,100. It is necessary to qualify the underlying picture, though.

Successful transactions decreased by 16.3% to 914,100, while total transactions fell by 26.4% to 994,000. The number of closed ledgers decreased by 74.4% to 5,300, a much steeper decline. This helps explain the massive increase in transactions per ledger: the average number of transactions included in each ledger increases mechanically when there are fewer recorded ledger closes and significant transaction activity. Account statistics are likewise inconsistent.

Number of active accounts rises

While active accounts decreased 64.5% to 4,800 and newly created accounts decreased 77.7% to just 463, active users are still very high at approximately 478,300, up 157%. The value transferred via payments has also significantly decreased.

Even though the actual number of payments increased, the payment volume decreased by 82.2% to roughly 70.8 million XRP. This combination implies that more individual payments are being processed by the network at a significantly lower average value. As transaction fees dropped 67.5% to 92.2 XRP, XRP burned. However, compared to earlier in August, price action is still significantly stronger.

Following a sharp breakout from roughly $1.00, XRP is currently trading at $1.41. Importantly, despite retracing from its recent $1.70 spike, the asset is still above the long-term moving average at about $1.35. After momentarily entering extremely overbought territory, the RSI has cooled to about 68, which lessens some of the immediate overheating.

Therefore, not every aspect of XRPL activity is growing, despite the 187.9% increase. Rather, the network now exhibits weaker account creation and payment value along with higher transaction density and stronger payment counts. For XRP itself, maintaining the $1.35–$1.40 region now matters. Holding it would preserve the structural breakout and leave another attempt at $1.50–$1.70 possible.
