Bitcoin and Ethereum Target Additional Gains, ADA Extends Rally

• Bitcoin price is attempting a fresh increase above USD 46,000.

• Ethereum broke the USD 3,200 resistance, XRP eyes USD 0.900.

• ADA rallied over 11% and surpassed the USD 1.75 resistance.

Bitcoin price remained well bid above the USD 45,000 support level. As a result, BTC started a fresh increase above the USD 46,000 level, before correcting lower again. It is currently (12:13 UTC) trading at almost USD 45,900.

Besides, most major altcoins are trading in a positive zone. ETH regained strength and it surpassed the USD 3,200 resistance. XRP is still sending bullish signs and it might hit USD 0.900 and move higher.

Total market capitalization

After a minor decline, bitcoin price found support near the USD 45,000 zone. BTC started a fresh increase above the USD 45,500 resistance zone. It even surpassed the USD 46,500 level, before moving lower again. If it resumes its upward move and settles above the USD 46,500 level, there could be a stronger increase. In this scenario, the price might hit the USD 48,000 resistance zone in the near term.

On the downside, the USD 45,000 level is a decent support. The first key support is now forming near the USD 44,500 level.

Ethereum price remained stable above the USD 3,100 level and it extended its increase. ETH climbed above the USD 3,200 and USD 3,220 resistance levels, before correcting lower. It seems like the bulls might aim for more upsides above the USD 3,280 and USD 3,300 levels.

On the downside, an immediate support is near the USD 3,150 level. The first major support is near the USD 3,110 level, below which the price might test USD 3,050.

Cardano (ADA) started a strong rally after it settled above the USD 1.50 level. ADA is up over 11% and it broke the USD 1.75 resistance. If the bulls remain in action, the price could rise towards the USD 1.80 level or higher.

Litecoin (LTC) is up almost 4% and it shortly broke the USD 170 resistance. Next resistance is near the USD 175 level, but the key hurdle is at USD 180. A follow up move above the USD 180 level could set the pace for a test of the USD 200 resistance zone.

Dogecoin (DOGE) gained 5% and it settled above the USD 0.250 level. It is trying to gain pace above USD 0.260 level. If there is a break above the USD 0.280 level, the price might test the USD 0.300 resistance. Conversely, there could be a downside correction towards the USD 0.220 support zone.

XRP price is up almost 8% and it surpassed the USD 0.850 resistance. The price is now attempting a close above USD 0.900. If it succeeds, there could be an increase towards the main USD 1.0 resistance.

Many altcoins climbed over 10%, including IOTX, AXS, RVN, HOT, HNT, MATIC, KSM, MIOTA, LUNA, TFUEL, BTT, GRT, CRV, SUSHI, TRX, and KLAY. Out of these, IOTX rallied 241% and it broke the USD 0.10 level.

To sum up, bitcoin price is gaining pace above the USD 45,500 resistance. It seems like BTC could continue to rise above the USD 46,500 level in the coming sessions.
