According to MetaMask, the wallet is aimed at traders and developers using AI agents to monitor markets, identify opportunities, and execute transactions autonomously. However, rather than giving an AI agent unrestricted access to a wallet, users can set spending caps, approve specific protocols, choose risk settings, and select between “Guard Mode” and “Beast Mode,” which offer different levels of automation.
