Can Ethereum 2.0 Kill Layer 2 Projects?

Ethereum　　Can Ethereum 2.0 Kill Layer 2 Projects？　　01 / 11 / 2023　　Balita ng Ethereum ng Bitcoin　　Nilalaman　　But what is Layer 2？　　Is there risk in Layer 2 projects？　　The arrival of Ethereum 2.0 is one of the great promises of the cryptocurrency market at the moment. Made many years ago, its commitment is to work hard to improve the network efficiency of the main altcoin on the market, thus impacting fees and the time it takes for a transaction to be carried out.　　Although Ethereum (ETH) has migrated to the proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus model, its network has not yet shown significant improvements when it comes to scalability. Therefore, in addition to altcoin competitors, Layer 2 projects, such as Polygon (MATIC), for example, still draw a lot of attention.　　Many investors end up choosing not to use a rival network to ETH, as they believe they are not as secure as that of the greatest smart contract platform. Investors who have been on the crypto market for a while have already noticed this — in a famous blockchain called Solana (SOL) that has had eight network outages since its launch in 2020, at the time of writing.　　Therefore, in order not to have this headache and save on

Low Transaction Fees Promote Ethereum’s Gradual Rebound

Ethereum　　Ang Mababang Bayarin sa Transaksyon ay Nagtataguyod ng Unti-unting Pag-rebound ng Ethereum　　01 / 11 / 2023　　Balita ng Ethereum ng Bitcoin　　Low fees and ease of utility are behind the continued gradual recovery of Ethereum.　　ETHs price recovery coincides with dropping average transaction fees.　　Lower fees on Ethereum might attract more DApps to the platform and create demand for ETH.　　Data from Santiment suggest that a recovery is on the way for Ethereum, albeit a gradual one. According to a post on Twitter, the all-time high (ATH) of $4,858 may be a far-off target, but fundamental factors are pointing in the right direction for the flagship altcoin.　　ETH achieved an ATH of $4,858 on November 10, 2021. It dropped from this level partly due to the consequences of bloated fees. At the time, average transaction fees on the blockchain were over $60. As a result, several projects left Ethereum for other competing blockchains.　　Santiment‘s report shows that there has been a significant crash in Ethereum’s transaction fees. From above $60 in 2021, it has fallen to below $2 as of the time of the report. It forms the basis for predicting an imminent recovery for the largest DApps development platform.　　The ease of utility this promotes is why

USDC adoption on Ethereum grows post-FTX collapse; USDT remains flat

After a brutal sequence of events led to the collapse of several crypto-related firms in 2022, FTXs bankruptcy dealt a massive blow to public trust in centralized crypto entities.　　During this period of heightened market volatility, crypto investors preferred Circle‘s USD Coin (USDC) to Tether’s USDT. According to Glassnodes data, while USDT is the largest stablecoin by market cap, USDC has more transfer volume.　　According to the data, USDC has a transfer volume of $15 billion, while USDTs volume is $3 billion. Cumulatively, USDC outpaces USDT by $7 trillion.　　Pinagmulan: Glassnode　　Meanwhile, the Glassnode chart below shows that the disparity in transfer volume was not always like this. USDT‘s volume outperformed that of USDC in 2020 and early 2021. But that changed in 2022 when the Circle-backed stablecoin’s volume started growing.　　Pinagmulan: Glassnode　　At the time, USDT began to face increased pagsusuri sa regulasyon about its reserves coupled with Terra‘s LUNA collapse, which birthed fears of whether the stablecoin wouldn’t lose its Dollar peg.　　USDCs balance on exchanges reach $5 billion　　In terms of exchange balances, Glassnode data shows that USDC is beginning to enjoy more adoption post-FTX collapse. According to the data, the USDC on exchanges is approaching $5 billion.　　Previously, USDC‘s adoption in 2022 had declined thanks

Bearish Flags Flutter for Ethereum, Is it the Right Time to Plunge back Below $1250?

The Ethereum price hovered around the liquidity zone below $1220 for quite a long time and quickly dropped heavily below $1200 to mark the bottom. However, at the beginning of the year 2023, the price inflated significantly and soared high to mark the yearly high of $1344 within just a couple of days. Meanwhile, the bears have dragged the levels lower which appears to get intensified in the coming days.　　It is worth noting that the trading volumes have dropped considerably and moreover, the bullish volume has slashed largely. Additionally, the deliverances for trend reversals have already formed. Therefore, even if the ETH price bounces back to the interim resistance may face a strong rejection that may drag the price lower below $1280 initially.　　Tingnan ang Trading　　With the first leg down, the ETH price may drop notably to test the immediate support levels at $1284. If the bulls fail to hold at this level then the plunge may get intensified and reach below $1250 and maintain a horizontal trend for a while. Further,

Liquid Staking Platforms Surging Ahead of Ethereum Shanghai Upgrade

Ethereum　　Liquid Staking Platforms Surging Ahead of Ethereum Shanghai Upgrade　　01 / 09 / 2023　　Balita ng Ethereum ng Bitcoin　　Cryptos newest narrative is liquid staking, as platforms and tokens have been taking off recently.　　Ethereum will go through the Pag-upgrade ng Shanghai in March, which releases ETH staked on the Beacon Chain. Industry analysts believe this will be good news for liquid staking protocols as they offer better incentives and yields. As opposed to direct staking, they provide a more flexible way to stake and earn without having to lock up the collateral.　　Liquid Staking Surging　　“Accessibility, immovability, and illiquidity are the top drawbacks of crypto staking,” the analyst added. Liquid staking platforms provide a staking token that can also be used in other DeFi protocols to generate additional yields.　　Lido is the industrys leading staking platform, with 4.8 million ETH staked, representing 30% of the total amount.　　Its governance token, LDO, has been on fire in recent weeks, gaining a whopping 57% over the past seven days. Other staking platform tokens, such as StakeWise (SWISE), have also performed well.　　The amount staked on platforms such as Lido, Rocket Pool, StakeWise, and Frax has also been steadily increasing as this new narrative gains momentum.　　Unlike Lido, Rocket Pool is permissionless

XRP and Ethereum (ETH) Communities Are Euphoric, Data Shows
