Did Ethereum accomplish its objectives, one year into the Merge?

Pinagmulan: ultrasound.money　　Staking interest at its peak　　While the Merge was a game changer, some key aspects of the PoS transition had to wait until the completion of the Shapella upgrade. Foremost among them was the right granted to stakers to unlock their holdings at will.　　With more freedom and renewed confidence in staking activity, more and more users came forward to lock their holdings in pursuit of rewards. As per the latest update by Glassnode, the total staked supply hit a fresh peak of 29.06 million. This represented a growth of 58% since the day of Shapella execution.　　???? #Ethereum $ ETH Ang Kabuuang Halaga sa ETH 2.0 Deposit Contract ay umabot lamang sa isang ATH na 29,060,084 ETH　　The increased interest in staking augured well for the security of the network.　　Some concerns linger　　Amidst the optimism and bullish sentiment, it was also necessary to examine the misses. Matt Cutler, CEO & Co-Founder of blockchain infra provider Blocknative, pointed out a few concerns around decentralization of Ethereums core infrastructure.　　“In the last 14 days, ~75% of the blocks on the Ethereum network were built by just three block builders – two of which widely recognized as vertically integrated Searcher/Builders). This seems less decentralized than the ecosystem

NFT Music Market Royal Founder 3LAU Withdraws From friend.tech, Donates ETH To Charity

Ethereum NFT　　NFT Music Market Royal Founder 3LAU Withdraws From friend.tech, Donates ETH To Charity　　Balita ng Ethereum ng Bitcoin　　Pangunahing puntos:　　3LAU, the renowned founder of the NFT music marketplace royal, has made a significant decision to withdraw from friend.tech. 　　While acknowledging the platforms potential, 3LAU cited concerns about the associated risks as the driving force behind his departure. As a testament to his commitment to supporting the music industry, he has pledged to donate 8 ETH to a music-focused charitable cause.　　This announcement comes as a surprise to the crypto community, given 3LAU‘s prominent role in the NFT and blockchain space. Friend.tech, a blockchain-based project, had issued tokens known as KEY, which 3LAU held. At its peak, the maximum value of 3LAU’s KEY tokens on the platform was 0.36 ETH. However, recent market dynamics have seen the value decline significantly to 0.03 ETH. Despite this drop, there are still 20 holders retaining their KEY tokens.　　3LAUs decision to exit friend.tech and redirect his assets towards charitable endeavors underscores the importance of risk assessment and philanthropy within the cryptocurrency community. This move also highlights the dynamic nature of blockchain projects and the need for careful consideration when engaging with emerging platforms.　　The donation of 8 ETH

Inilunsad ng Ethereum ang bagong testnet na Holešky, naglalaan ng 1.6B ETH para sa mga dev

Ethereum　　Ethereum launches new testnet ‘Holešky,’ allocates 1.6B ETH for devs　　Balita ng Ethereum ng Bitcoin　　Ethereum developers launched a new testnet on Sept. 15. Called “Holešky,” the network is expected to be used for staking, infrastructure and protocol development, according to its developer documents. Sepolia will remain the dominant network for application development.　　Kamusta Holesky, Pinakabagong Testnet ng Ethereum　　An initial supply of 1.6 billion Holešky testnet Ether (HETH) habilin be allocated to validators on Holeškys launch day to bootstrap the network into operation, according to Ethereum developer Tim Beiko. This represents 10 times the amount of Ether (ETH) present on mainnet. Beiko stated that developers were comfortable with producing this amount because “devnets [are] regularly using 10B supply.”　　Previously, the Goerli testnet was used to test new staking, infrastructure and protocol developments. Goerli is the oldest Ethereum testnet in operation, having been launched in 2018. In October, protocol developers began complaining that Goerli had too low of a supply of Goerli ETH to adequately handle testing needs. Given its large initial supply of HETH, Holešky is expected to help alleviate this problem.　　Since Sepolia was launched in 2021, the Ethereum team has been urging application developers to move from Goerli to Sepolia, leaving only protocol

Nasunog ang Ethereum Network ng 980K ETH Mula noong Pagsamahin ang Pag-upgrade

One year after its groundbreaking transition from the Proof of Work (PoW) to Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism, Ethereum has witnessed a remarkable decline in energy consumption and enhanced network accessibility. However, persistent technical challenges continue to affect its journey ahead.　　Data from the Ethereum analytics platform ultrasound.money reveals that since the transition, the network has minted 681,049.69 Ether while burning 980,847.58 Ether, resulting in a net supply reduction of 299,797 Ether, equal to a 0.248% annualized decrease.　　On September 15 of the previous year, Ethereum executed the pivotal Merge upgrade, shifting from PoW to PoS. This monumental transition substantially curtailed its overall energy usage. Currently, the Goerli testnet will be replaced by the new testnet, Holesky, which follows years of development for the developer community.　　The Merge also transformed Ethereum into an economically deflationary network, wherein the issuance of new ETH to secure the network outpaced the ETH removed from circulation.　　Despite optimism that ETHs price would surge due to this deflationary pressure, several macroeconomic challenges, including banking crises and rising inflation, have somewhat subdued these expectations.　　It‘s worth noting that Ethereum’s growth in value has been overshadowed by Bitcoins price surge in the first quarter of this year, with the leading cryptocurrency

Maaaring mabawasan ng inflation ang pataas na presyon sa CHF – Scotiabank

Balita ng Ethereum ng Bitcoin　　The CHF is the best performing major currency so far this year, gaining 3.5% on the USD, the best among the core peers. Economists at Scotiabank analyze Francs outlook.　　The trend decline in EUR/CHF may stabilize around the 0.95 point　　While inflation has moderated somewhat and has clearly moved back below 2%, policymakers appear to be leaning towards some additional ‘insurance’ tightening to take the SNBs key policy rate to 2%.　　Easing inflation pressures may spill over into the currencys broader trend. Policymakers have favoured a somewhat stronger exchange rate to help dampen price pressures.　　The trend decline in EUR/CHF (more than 5.5% this year) may stabilize around the 0.95 point.　　We anticipate a EUR rebound to 0.98 by year-end.　　USD/CHF – Q3-23 0.88 Q4-23 0.88 Q1-24 0.87 Q2-24 0.87

Sinabi ng co-founder ng Ethereum na ang mga regulator ng US ay sa wakas ay yayakapin ang crypto

Its a matter of time before the US embraces crypto, says Joseph Lubin.　　Lubin, a co-founder of Ethereum and CEO of Consensys, struck a confident tone during a recent interview that rational decisions will be made amid ongoing disputes between US regulators like the US Securities and Exchange Commission and crypto companies.　　Similar to previous tech advancements like the internet, practical thinking will ultimately guide the regulatory approach to the industry, Lubin said on CNBCs “Capital Connection” on Thursday.　　“America will see that decentralized protocols, blockchain, cryptocurrency are aligned with the philosophies of the US,” he added. “And I think much of the rest of the world will follow suit.”　　US crypto exchanges expect to face increased scrutiny after the SEC filed lawsuits against Coinbase and Binance in June, accusing them of violating securities regulations.　　Elsewhere, Coinbase has initiated legal action against the SEC, urging the securities regulator to offer clearer regulatory guidelines for the crypto industry. The exchange maintains that the current regulatory framework in the US lacks clarity and practicality.　　Lubin highlighted in the interview that the US regulatory approach influences many countries worldwide.　　“The US has a lot of influence on the world through financial intermediaries and other intermediaries, and decentralized protocol technology is
