Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, published a blog post illustrating application scenarios that excite him about the Ethereum ecosystem. The article examined money, DeFi, digital identification, DAOs, and hybrid apps to demonstrate the breadth of utility available on the Turing complete blockchain network.
On money
Among the Ethereum ecosystem apps he prefers are those with a money use case. According to Vitalik, these apps facilitate donations and, in most circumstances, provide protection from de-platforming.
The Ethereum co-founder also discussed stablecoins, claiming that they have various applications because they are open to anybody, immune to censorship, and interact effectively with on-chain infrastructure such as DEXes.
